Why is my app stuck on Splash Screen?

Mint app can get stuck on the Splash Screen, which occurs when the app fails to request specific data or files.

Note: If you are hosting your Mint app on your server, please make sure that your website supports the hiding URL extension, simply by visiting it. for example, write in your browser https://site.com/configuration/SECRET_API_KEY , and if your website returns a 404 error message, then your website doesn't support hiding URL extension by default.

  1. The easiest fix is to open the Config.java file located on your app and add .json to the end of your Secret API Key.
  2. If this doesn't fix your issue, Use the .htaccess file which is a simple ASCII file that can be created using any text editor. The .htaccess file lets your server know what configuration changes to make on a per-directory basis.
  • Here's how to create a .htaccess file:
    1. Create a new file called .htaccess in the root directory.
    2. Add the code below into the file and save it.
RewriteEngine On

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f

RewriteRule ^([^.]+)$ $1.json [NC,L]
